My Baby Girl

My baby girl never used to like me
She only liked my mom because my mom wouldn't annoy her or pick her up
My baby girl is funny
She doesn't really understand things very well
She is what we call "a scardeycat" because she pretends she is so tough, but really she is a coward
My baby girl had a traumatic past before she came to our home
She was abused and went from home to home because no one wanted her
My baby girl went to school when she first came to us, but she failed because she was too social
My baby girl started feeling crummy recently
She was vomiting everyday
She was drinking 5x as much water as usual and peeing all of the time
She was having accidents in the house
She stopped giving me the usual nasty looks she would give me when I entered the room
My baby girl went to the doctor's and we found out she has diabetes
My baby girl gets vaccinations everyday now
I think she is feeling better because she occasionally gives me nasty looks when she doesn't want me to be around her
My baby girl likes me now
Now I have been treating her much more gently and considerately because I found out about her sickness
I took into account that she is a living being too and needs sweet and gentle care
My baby girl is my dog

I love tap dancing. It is so much fun, and makes a beautiful and fun sound when doing it. It creates a music to accompany the dance without a record player. It is a dance that sparks attention constantly. Facial actions, body expression, "spirit fingers" (as I would say) spice it up even more. Although it is not the same, it reminds me of the dancing back in the 20's with the flappers, like from the movie Chicago. And like the dancing in Burlesque. (Both are two of my favorite movies). My tap shoes are beautiful too, I could spend hours just looking at them, I actually have... (I know that's kind of sad). Tap reminds me of an art and a party life. It is a type of dance to show off to the world!

"Easy A" commentary

I can't whether I like the movie "Easy A" or not. Olive is an amazing character, she is bright, cool, kind, charismatic, and has a quick sense of humor. I love her lines where she makes jokes, quick sense of humor, puns, sarcasm (but sarcasm in a good way), intellectual jokes that bring in teenagers, and jokes related to media and books. If I were in her situation I probably would not keep the rumor going. Realistically I would just cower in the corner and dwell on to how horrible my situation would be... until I eventually got depressed... again. Olive, unlike other people took the liberty to stand strong and go with the crowd rather than retaliate. She made jokes about it, and spiced up her image. Honestly I don't know why she did it. I don't know if she held this reputation for the money, to get back at Rhianan (her best friend), to annoy Mary-Anne, to get attention, or to just entertain herself with a wild life. Personally I would not want rumors going around that I was sleeping around, it didn't seem that Olive wanted that either. Olive did not start this on a whim, events happened leading up to this and as I said before, she did not retaliate, rather embraced it. I guess a person in high school is less likely to be picked apart if they stay strong, keep going, don't be afraid of holding their head high and showing their face, rather than let others get to them. Olive acted proud, which is how I wish I had stood in high school to face my big rumor life. Not only did Olive hold her head high but she also laughed about everything, made funny puns, and loved herself for who she was. Furthermore, Olive had integrity. She stayed strong and never once doubted herself while she was doing this until the end, I would have never been able to do that. I can't say though that I would like to be like Olive... I would not want to spread rumors about myself that I slept around, which is one of the reasons why I partly didn't like the movie... because Olive took the liberty to spread rumors about her pretend sex life and embraced it. If the movie had the same plot line, except for the rumor being about sex, with the wonderful character (Olive) in it I would have loved it even more.

The beginning of my discovery

In the seventeen years that I have been alive things have been changing all of the time. Every year my life has a different feel and meaning. I wanted to create this blog because I love writing and to have a grasp on what's going on in the world. Jodi Picoult is my favorite writer and I aspire to be a writer like her. Life is so dear to everyone, it should be. As people say; we cannot stop and pause the movie of our life. We do not know what will be at the end of the movie or the middle, we don't know how to respond to certain situations because we have no idea what's coming next or how to respond in that given moment. Life is a beautiful creation. A creation of how we make it. Happiness is beautiful. Suffering is beautiful. Love is beautiful. Hate is beautiful. I want to capture all of these things that life has to offer and phrase it as beautifully as I can.
